Congressional Briefing on FirstNet
U.S. Capitol North Congressional Meeting Room (CVC 268) Washington, DC, United StatesIt is my pleasure to announce the Public Safety Broadband Technology Association’s FirstNet Congressional Briefing and working lunch. There have been many exciting changes in public safety communication capabilities since the 9/11 Commission recommended a dedicated network for first responders and the subsequent inception of FirstNet by Congress in 2012. We look forward to showing you how far we’ve come, where we are today, and what the future looks like with FirstNet, America’s Public Safety Network.
Our program will be divided up into 3 distinct sessions, with plenty of time to speak to public safety professionals in between. Attendees are welcome to stay for the entire program, or pop in for a topic of interest. Box lunches will be available throughout the program.
