LMR to LTE integration: What Does It Mean, Why Do We Need It, And Who Can Do It?

As a first responder, you are used to having your radio and your cell phone. Shouldn’t they work together? Much has been made about interoperability between LMR networks and LTE based devices. This “101” course will explain the methods by which LTE-based solutions can tie into existing Land Mobile Radio networks, and will outline some of the department-wide efficiencies to be gained by leveraging AT&T’s nationwide LTE network.

Presentation will include an overview of what devices and software are available today.
