LAS VEGAS – On behalf of the Public Safety Broadband Technology Association (PSBTA) and the Public Safety Spectrum Alliance (PSSA), we would like to congratulate Olivia Trusty on her confirmation as a new Commissioner to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Commissioner Trusty’s extensive background in communications policy and knowledge of communications priorities in the public safety community will help shape the future of the FCC. 

“We look forward to working with Commissioner Trusty in her new role. Her leadership in supporting FirstNet’s mission and the FCC’s spectrum and other responsibilities is a welcomed addition. Public Safety appreciates her commitment to helping first responders deliver miss-critical communications,” shared Chief Jeff Johnson, spokesperson for the PSSA. 

We appreciate all that Commissioner Trusty has done for public safety in her previous roles and anticipate the great work she will accomplish at the FCC.
