LAS VEGAS — On behalf of the Public Safety Spectrum Alliance (PSSA), we congratulate Danielle Thumann Severs on her nomination by President Trump to serve as a Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission.

Ms. Thumann Severs currently serves as Senior Counsel to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, with responsibility for matters before the Wireline Bureau, the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau, and the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau.

Her work and experience have placed her at the center of issues central to the reliability, deployment, and evolution of public safety communications networks. The PSSA looks forward to her service on the Commission at a time when critical decisions continue regarding FirstNet—the nation’s only dedicated, interoperable wireless broadband network for first responders.

We appreciate her public service, and upon Senate confirmation, look forward to constructive engagement with Commissioner Thumann Severs in support of policies that strengthen public safety spectrum and the FirstNet ecosystem.
